the story of gott efni
It all began with a small shop in Old Ellicott City, MD…but the story of Gott Efni’s beginning and my love for floral design began much earlier than that. As a high school student, I worked in a flower shop in South Korea. After emigrating, I studied floral design in the states. For more than two decades, I began working as a freelance wedding designer, handling flower arrangements and decor. I have always loved the way that botanical design brings us together.
I love things with texture, earth tones, muted colors and vintage style. These are the elements that make me feel comfortable and bring a unique quality to our work at Gott Efni.

The process of creating our botanical designs and arrangements begins with sourcing. We carefully source florals and greenery that connect to our love for creating with simple and organic forms.
Whenever possible, we love including curated vintage pottery and glassware in our work. Our love for vintage style runs deep, so connecting to this is inherent to our work and creative vision.
